Setting defaults for individual customers
Each customer can override certain document defaults — for example, the currency used for that customer's invoices, or a longer payment window than the business default. Per-customer defaults apply when a new invoice or estimate is created for the customer, and remain editable on the document itself.

Available per-customer settings
Any of the following can be set on a customer; a blank field falls back to the business-wide default:
- Currency — the default currency for invoices and estimates issued to this customer.
- Language — the language documents are generated in (affects PDF rendering, email content, and translatable labels).
- Invoice payment terms — how many days after the issue date an invoice is due by default.
- Estimate expiration — how many days an estimate remains valid by default.
- Late fee rate — the daily percentage applied to overdue invoices, when late fees are enabled.
E-invoice readiness
E-invoice readiness is read from the relevant registry, not configured per customer. See What are e-invoices? for how readiness is determined per country.
Salesperson
A customer can be assigned to a specific team member. This controls visibility for the Sales Representative role and organises customers by account ownership. See Sales Representatives: scope and customer assignment.
