The public view link for invoices and estimates

Every invoice and estimate has a public view link — a unique URL your customer can open in a browser to see the document without logging in. We include it in the emails Sliptree sends on your behalf, but you can also copy and share it yourself.

Getting the link

Open an invoice or estimate and click Copy link from the More actions menu. The URL goes onto your clipboard — paste it into a chat, an email you're writing manually, or wherever else you need it.

The link contains a long random token, which is what keeps it secret. Anyone with the link can view the document, so treat it like a private URL — don't post it on a public page or paste it into a forum.

What customers see

Following the link shows your customer a clean, branded view of the document with options to:

• Read the document.
• Download a PDF copy.

They don't need a Sliptree account.
