Filtering and customising list views
Most pages in Sliptree that show a list — invoices, estimates, customers, products, transactions — share the same toolbar: a search box, a set of filters, and controls for which columns appear and how rows are sorted. Once you know one list, you know them all.
Search vs. filters
The search box does a free-text match against the most relevant fields for that resource. On invoices and estimates it matches numbers, customer names, and titles. On customers it matches names, emails, and VAT numbers. On products it matches names and SKUs.
Filters are structured — each filter targets one specific attribute (status, customer, currency, date, etc.) and can take exact values, ranges, or multiple selections. Use search for quick lookups, filters for narrowing down a working set.
Available filters by resource
Filters vary by what makes sense for each resource. The lists below are representative, not exhaustive — we add new filters from time to time, so your screen may show a few more than what's listed here.
- Invoices and estimates — status, customer, currency, total range, issue date, due date, created by, customer country, and others.
- Customers — country, registration number, currency, language, salesperson, and others.
- Products — tax rate, price range, unit, and others.
- Transactions — date range, financial account, document association.

Multiple filters always combine with AND — only rows matching every active filter are shown. To clear filters, remove them individually from the filter bar or use Clear all.
Customising columns

Click the column picker near the top of any list to choose which columns appear. Toggle individual columns on and off; your selection is saved per list per browser, so an invoice list set up for one workflow keeps that shape next time you return.
Sorting
Click any sortable column heading to sort by that column. Click again to reverse the direction. You can also pick a sort field from the Sort dropdown — useful for fields that don't have a visible column.
Saved views
Sliptree does not currently support named saved views. The URL itself reflects every active filter and sort — bookmark the URL of a frequently-used list (for example, "overdue invoices for one customer") to come back to the same view in one click.
Combining with exports and bulk actions
Filters apply to every row-level action on the page. When you export, only rows matching the current filter set are exported by default. The same applies to bulk actions: selecting "all" after applying filters acts on the filtered set, not on every record in the system. See Exporting data for the full picture.
